Siegrist Lab

Welcome to the Siegrist Lab! We study the bacterial cell wall with a special focus on intracellular pathogens. We draw from chemical biology, genetics, biochemistry and biophysics and develop new tools when appropriate.

Our lab is part of the Microbiology Department at the University of Massachusetts - Amherst. We are also affiliated with the Molecular and Cellular Biology Graduate Program at UMass.
